Golf in Grand County
Grand County has four public golf courses and each is unique and wonderful. Regardless of your score at the end of the day you will have a wonderful time on these courses because of the views that will captivate you along the way. Not to mention the possibility of seeing wildlife, like moose and elk, and the fact that the balls fly farther here because of the elevation!
Pole Creek Golf Club is located just 10 miles north of Winter Park. 10,709 yards, par 108. Come see why they call this "the masterpiece of Colorado mountain golf." Grand Elk Golf Course is also about 15 miles north of Winter Park. 7,100 yards, par 71. PGA champion golfer Craig Stadler and course architect Tripp Davis designed this award-winning golf course. The course emphasizes natural features echoing the Heathland style, which derives from the British Isles. The greens vary in size and pitch, and the course tends to give the visual impression that a shot will play difficult. More of a perception than a reality, it makes for exciting play.
