Hot Sulphur Springs is known as one of the nation's oldest, largest and finest natural hot mineral springs resort and spa. Enoy the sacred waters where the Ute Indians once bathed, healed mind, body, and spirit.
There are now 22 pools and private baths, which include a solarium pool, the therapy Elk Pool, and a summer swimming pool.
The Springs are located at 7,600 feet elevation and have been in operation continually for the past 140 years. The Resort adjoins National Forest land and the Colorado River. Hot Sulphur Springs is only minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park.
The quaint mountain town of Hot Sulphur Springs, is located 1 hour and 45 minutes northwest of Denver via I-70 to Highway 40 and only 30 minutes west of the Winter Park Ski Area (Colorado's busiest ski area); 10 minutes from Sol Vista Ski Area; 60 minutes from Summit County which has major skiing and sailing and just over an hour to Vail and Steamboat Springs. We are 20 minutes from Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby for sailing and fishing.
The remodeled lodge has 16 spa areas, private baths, a lounge with fireplace and a summer snack bar. The Snack Bar serves sandwiches, salads and you must try our fresh fruit "Smoothie"! (Snack bar open summer only.)
NO smoking, drugs, alcohol or pets are allowed on the premises. The Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa is a quiet, relaxing, health-orientated facility.
Hot Sulphur Springs guests are invited to wander the 80 acres, have a picnic, watch the trains, and fish or raft the adjoining Colorado River. Gourmet dining is available nearby.
